Here now is a work that has never seen a camera, but was purely created by me on the PC. Partly because this motif simply no longer exists in today’s time, and as an old sea dog, I still like it. Lighthouses in storms, the structure’s battle against massive forces of nature, I simply find such motifs awesome. Here, I allowed my imagination to run wild to create this motif. Even if it’s purely from imagination, I still find it great because it also shows something of the struggle between man and nature.

Water is indeed my element 😉 this time exactly the opposite of the gentle water of long exposures, here the rough water that shapes our coasts comes to light. Along with the blue of the Atlantic, I find this magnificent.

Volcanoes, here one is shown as a human how small one is.
This merciless force when they erupt and, in contrast, a breathtaking nature when they are solidified.
Here, it’s really true that the landscape changes completely every 500m, there are motifs at every corner.
Simply stunningly beautiful at Spain’s highest volcano.

Here too, it took days of planning in advance: when and where the Milky Way would be visible, what the moon and weather would do, and finally, searching for the exact location the day before.

Here in the lonely volcanic landscape at 2000m, everything finally fell into place.

But as with many photos, viewing them on a mobile phone, especially in sunlight, doesn’t do them justice. On a PC, you can already see much more detail, and on the finished wall picture, it’s – wow.

Our planet is so endlessly beautiful.
But there are also beautiful things to discover outside our blue sphere.
For example, our Milky Way.
I had long envisioned such a photo, but either clouds, the moon, or light pollution from cities got in the way.
Here too, it took days of planning in advance: when and where the Milky Way would be visible, what the moon and weather would do, and finally, searching for the exact location the day before.
Here in the lonely volcanic landscape at 2000m, everything finally fell into place.

This German, old lighthouse, which also serves as a monument, was what I had chosen this time as the subject of my photographic desire.
As a photographer, you’re not alone here 😉
Despite the wind force 8 at 5°C, we managed to hold out for quite a while to create a beautiful work here with long exposure photography.
