Here, an almost painterly motif was created using strong long-exposure.
Not always a safe undertaking on the wet stones 😉
But I like the interplay of soft water playing around the hard rocks.
Hard & Soft, Yin & Yang, Good & Evil, thus it has a special meaning.
These photos are not something that is created in 5 minutes, often long planning and then a longer shoot was necessary, one had to first find the right location, the right tides, the right weather, etc. Just many things that come into consideration when taking proper photographs.

While the lion is officially the king of the animals, the true boss in the wilderness is the elephant, even the lion makes way at the watering hole. Personally observed how the big boss made room for his family at the waterhole. He was definitely at an advantage in the dispute over space on the road 😉

Closer to it was almost impossible, with the wilderness on cloth feeling. He also thought it was time for us to disappear 😉

The official king of the animals is the lion, but the real boss in the wilderness is the elephant, where even the lion makes way at the waterpoint. Even watching the big boss make room at the waterhole for his family.

This was our last impression of Kruger National Park. – Not a bad last impression 😉
